Our story
Hi, I’m Rachel Snow. And I’m so glad you stumbled upon my small corner of the internet.
My obsession with natural dyeing, and specifically botanical printing, was a love affair long in the making. As an avid gardener, naturalist, and clinical herbalist, plants are a huge part of my life. I am either tending to, harvesting, brewing, or doing something with them on any given day. Combing this love of plants with my artistic background in printmaking, it was only natural my path would lead me to botanical printing.
When I first discovered botanical printing I wanted to convert my entire wardrobe to botanically printed clothes. Simply put, I fell in love. And then once I learned how to do it, and I fell even harder.

The art of botanical printing feels like magic to me. It utilizes all four elements; the body of the earth in the plants and fibers, the fire that heats the cauldron, the water that creates the steam, and the air that rises into the bundles- to create something that did not exist before. In essence it is true alchemy, sacred chemistry, ancient art. Call it what you will, simply put it’s awesome. I am never ceased to be amaze by what can nature can make.
Each garment I personally handmake using plants that I grow on my land with love and intention, or forage sustainably. Many of the clothes I personally hand sew, or source from ethical artisans using organic fabrics. I also take pride in utilizing upcycled fabrics. This is slow fashion, in the truest sense.
